How KaSmart works

Every collection is weighed and recorded on the spot, so you always know what you earned and why.

Register
A KaSmart officer registers your home, business or institution and gives you a QR card with your KaSmart ID.

Subscribe
Choose a plan and pay by MTN MoMo, Airtel Money, card, cash or bank. Your collections earn points while it is active.

Collect
A Green Agent scans your card, weighs each bag of sorted waste and notes how well it was sorted.

Reward
Points land on your account for every kilo. You get an SMS, and the app shows exactly what was recorded.

Redeem
Cash out your points to your MTN MoMo or Airtel Money number whenever you are ready.

Keep each kind in its own bag. The Green Agent weighs every bag separately, and each kind has its own rate in points per kilo.
